Terms of Use for Offline Focus

Introduction

Welcome to Offline Focus ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

License Grant

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control.

Pricing and Purchase

Offline Focus is provided under a one-time purchase model priced at €4.99. Upon successful purchase through the Apple App Store, you receive:

• Lifetime access to the app and all its features
• All music tracks including Ambient, LoFi, Classical, Jazz, Electronic, and White Noise collections
• Access to all current and future feature updates at no additional cost
• Performance improvements, bug fixes, and stability enhancements
• No subscriptions, no recurring fees, no in-app purchases

All payment processing and sensitive billing information (e.g., card numbers) are handled securely by Apple. We do not store or have access to your payment details.

User Account and Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Ensuring your use complies with applicable laws and these Terms
• Providing accurate and up-to-date information

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful, personal purposes. You may not:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App
• Extract, redistribute, or commercially use the music files included in the App
• Use the App for commercial purposes without explicit written permission
• Circumvent or disable any security features or usage restrictions
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Share your purchase with unauthorized users or devices

Content and Intellectual Property

Our Content

The App and its content, including but not limited to software, user interface, graphics, music files, logos, and design, are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Music Licenses

All music tracks included in Offline Focus are licensed from third-party sources and are provided for personal, non-commercial use within the App only. You may not extract, copy, distribute, or use the music files outside of the App. Detailed music attribution and licenses are available in the app and on our licenses page.

User Data

All timer settings, preferences, and session history are stored locally on your device. You retain full control over this data and can reset it at any time through the app settings.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Offline Focus is designed to work completely offline and does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on external servers. Please review our Privacy Policy for complete details.

All app data (timer settings, session history, music preferences) is stored locally on your device and never leaves your device. Purchase validation is handled securely by Apple.

App Store Terms

Offline Focus is available exclusively through the Apple App Store. By downloading the App, you also agree to Apple's App Store Terms of Service. Your purchase and usage are subject to Apple's policies and procedures for refunds, updates, and support.

Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Availability

Offline Focus is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. While the app is designed to work completely offline, we do not guarantee:

• Continuous, uninterrupted access to the App on all devices
• Compatibility with all iOS versions or device models
• Freedom from bugs, errors, or technical issues
• That timer accuracy will be perfect in all scenarios (battery saving modes may affect background timers)
• Uninterrupted music playback in all circumstances

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App
• Third-party content or actions

Termination

Since Offline Focus operates entirely offline without accounts or servers, termination primarily relates to your license to use the App. We may terminate your license if:

• You violate these Terms (e.g., reverse engineering, unauthorized distribution)
• You engage in fraudulent activities related to the purchase
• You use the App in ways that harm other users or our reputation

You may terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the App. Refunds are subject to Apple's App Store refund policy.

Updates and Modifications

App Updates

We may release updates to the App to add features, improve performance, fix bugs, or add new music tracks. Updates are delivered through the App Store and are included in your one-time purchase at no additional cost. Some updates may require the latest iOS version.

Terms Changes

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through:

• Updates to this webpage with a new effective date
• In-app notifications when appropriate
• App Store update notes for significant changes

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes will be resolved through:

• Good faith negotiations between you and us
• Mediation if necessary
• Jurisdiction of courts in Germany

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also benefit from mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
